Discussion With The Pharmacist About My Pain Management
[ Wednesday May 1st 2024 at 11:40 am ]
I am feeling disappointed. The pharmacy I used filled medication for me approximately 10 weeks before it was due. As well the pharmacy staff accepted pain medication prescriptions even though I had voided this pain medication prescribing agreement on April 3rd 2024 when my pain management doctor assumed this responsibility.
The family doctor I left on April 3rd 2024 sent new prescriptions for me even though I explicitly stated in my pain management doctor would be assuming this responsibility effective April 3rd 2024. The statement I made concerning this in my derostering letter was not ambiguous. Based on the other toxic and poor treatment I received I feel like this is my former family doctor being vindictive. The pain management agreement I had includes the condition to only get the medication from one doctor. My former family doctor would have known she was putting my pain management agreement with my pain management doctor in jeopardy when she sent these prescriptions.
I have a copy of the agreement I made with my former family doctor. I will include this as part of my complaint against my former family doctor to the College of Physicians and Surgeons. This is documented proof of the toxic way my former family doctor treated me. This will help support other toxic behaviour where I don't have a document to support what I am saying.
The pharmacist I spoke with has revoked the medications that should never have been accepted. For the medication they filled inappropriately they will send a letter to my pain management doctor acknowledging their mistake.
I have self worth. I don't allow people to treatment me poorly. I am prepared to stand up for myself. In this situation it is necessary.
