Warranty Replacement For My Rice Cooker

Yesterday evening I cooked up 4 servings of rice - mixed vegetables and meat balls. My Hamilton Beach multi-cooker is designed for this. When I checked on the food the control panel was flashing like a Christmas tree. Upon closer examination there was water in the screen. I have no idea how it got in here. But this renders it unsafe. I have owned it for less than 1 year. I contacted the manufacturer. They are willing to replace it under warranty. They have done one better for me. They have offered to waive the shipping fee. I am really grateful. I have been heavily relying on my multi-cooker. It made me feel safe. With one of my artificial hips in hardware failure I have been using this to cook my meals. This device shuts itself off after the food is cooked. With all the trouble I am having with my artificial hip malfunctioning, the severe pain and extreme stiffness this causes I wasn't worried about having a house fire. It really bothered me when this broke last night. But the manufacturer is making good on this. I don't mind an honest mistake. The multi-cooker otherwise worked very well. Somehow I believe what has gone wrong is a one-off mishap. I am being take care of. For this I am grateful.
