Went Back To The Hospital On Account Of My Artificial Left Hip

Since December 22nd 2023 my artificial left hip has made a grinding sound or gave me the sensation that the muscles around my artificial left hip have been bite by the hip a total of 16 times.
I was to the hospital on December 24th to get my artificial left hip checked. At the time what I wanted was accomplished: I needed to know if the bone supporting my hip had fractured. The agreement was that I'd attend physiotherapy and follow up with the surgeon who replaced my hip if it continued to be troublesome.
The hip never stopped making the grinding noise or the sensation that the muscles supporting it were nipped (bite) by the artificial hip. I contacted the surgeon who replaced my hips by e-mail mid January 2024 after another 7 instances. He promptly responded the following day that he has now retired. This stands to reason. I was sent to his because of his skills. Retirement was inevitable.
The hip has continued to malfunction. I went back to the hospital for help today. Based on 2 months of this it is now likely that my artificial left hip hardware is failing. The nurse practitioner told me they can't tell by x-ray what is actually happening with the actual hardware. It is clear the artificial isn't okay. I'm being referred onto a surgeon for this.
The good news is that I did get some peace of mind today. I asked the nurse if I did anything wrong. I've been trying to figure this out for 2 months. She doesn't think so. This does happen to artificial hips. However it is concerning that the hip is only 10 years old. But this is where I'm at. It is unavoidable that the hip needs help.
The surgeon I am being referred to is young. This is relevant to gaining the skills and internship that lands a person with their own medical practice. The concern the hospital raised is if my left hip is wearing out my right hip can't be far behind.
There is only 1 thing I really want. I would like to have pet hamster before I'm offered another operation. I want to have a chance to train a pet hamster just as much as a hamster training me for what he needs. As soon as the snow is gone I'll be getting out my spot welder to add the second set of bars to the guinea pig cage I purchased to make it suitable for a hamster. This will allow for lots of space for a hamster to live a good life with me and require the shavings be changed only once a month. I really enjoyed watching Rocky while eating my meals. If I have to go through another operation I'd like to watch my next little buddy as he lives his hamster life.
