My Artificial Left Hip Joint Clicked

My artificial hip just clicked. It sounded like when I unload clean bowls from the dishwasher onto the stack in the cupboard. It was ceramic on ceramic although muted by my skin. I will need to have the integrity of the hip checked. The quad muscles are throbbing good. I need some rest before I deal with this. When my hip muscles start throbbing it takes a lot out of me. This makes me feel very weak. Today is over.
I had just finished soaking my legs in the tub. This happened when I was drying myself off while bending at the waist. This is the same idea as touching your toes in gym class. What I am surprised about is after using the tub my quad muscles are normally in a relaxed state. I don't understand why (or how) this happened. I am wondering if something bigger is going on.
