Follow Up Appointment For My Right Eye
[ Friday October 27th 2023 at 1:35 pm ]

I have completed the follow up appointment for my right eye with one of the top eye doctors for this area of Ontario Canada. Something isn't sitting right with me. I am feeling uneasy. I have nothing against the eye doctor I just had my appointment with. He and the staff have treated me very well. But when I get this feeling it always proves to be right. I am wondering what has been missed.

My right eye improved while I was using the medication prescribed to me. But then three days after I completed the medication my right eye begin to revert back to the symptoms that triggered the referral to this eye specialist. The doctors at my local hospital emergency department and the eye doctor all think I am having an alergic reaction. But they are puzzled why it is just my right eye and not both. It doesn't make sense.

Now the eye doctor thinks my eczema is causing this. I am not at peace with this. Before I am going to be able to push back on the doctor I will either need to try what a dermatologist advice or have the eye revert back to how it was during my initial appointment with the eye doctor on October 6th. I have a feeling that my body has already made the decision that this is going to happen. I don't get any pleasure out of being right. But with all the years of physiotherapy I have endured being constantly asked "what does it feel like" I am in tune with my body. When combined with my mental acuity and analytical cognitive skills I keep finding that I am right even when I don't want to be.

The good thing about Ontario's health care is that once you are in the system you will be taken care of. I am going to need to keep talking about this until it is resolved.
